Welcome to StudioRishan
Here is where I post some of the stuff I've done and where I'll post my future projects!
I DO UPDATE THE WEBSITE SO STAY TUNED FOR ADDED PROJECTS :D
ANIMATIONS

One of my most popular Animations on YouTube
This was a passion project of mine to express my love for the game Five Nights at Freddy's. The original game came out on August 8th, 2014, and in 2024, I published this video around the anniversary after 2 - 3 months of hard work in production and post-processing. This was also my last time using the animation software Source Filmmaker, as I would later learn Blender on my own time.

If you haven't tried the game before, I highly recommend it.
Testing Collisions in Blender with Godzilla
This was a project where I was mostly figuring out the collision system in Blender, so I could get the impact to look right between Godzilla and the Muto. Took around 2 weeks, but I think it came out decent. Not my best work, post-processing-wise wise but I like to look at this reel as me overcoming the physics engine in Blender.

Dynamic Movement Testing with CYN
This one is heavily based on Episode 8 of MURDER DRONES and uses one of my favorite characters from the show, CYN. I wanted to experiment with more dynamic movement while also trying to get a more cinematic feel. I feel pretty happy with the outcome, and this also has some of my best post-production work related to Blender. The issue with Blender is that it is a very heavy program, so simulating particles is difficult for my computer; that's why everything is added in post. And typically it takes weeks for the effects to feel like they're a part of the world of the animation, but I feel like I got that feel in this animation.

My First Attempt at Post Production Effects
The idea behind this animation was to bring an old VHS feel from a time long ago, then a jump to the present. One thing added to this one, however, was the addition of gore to add to the horror, so VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. Once again, a Five Nights at Freddy's-based animation, because I think the story of the franchise fits what I was going for. Search it up if you're curious; it's simple, dark, but also interesting.

Working With Fast Paced Material
This animation was something one of my friends asked me to do because they loved this song. When I first listened to it, I didn't know what I was going to do since the song is so fast-paced. Eventually, what I did was keep the slower parts smooth and the faster parts more erratic, playing into the tempo to exemplify the speed of the song. This is personally one of my favorites, and it took about 3 - 4 months since I had scrapped an earlier version.

My First Animation
This was my first animation, took some time to scrounge around in my computer to find this antique of an animation. This was made in Source Filmmaker since my family's laptop couldn't run Blender. As you can see, it is extremely choppy and inconsistent with movements. Although it is embarrassing to watch, it's nice knowing I have improved. Also, I didn't know how to render, so I screen-recorded the animation right out of the software, good times.
No video link, just a file.
CALLBACK PING
I challenged myself with this project to make it look as pleasing to the eye as possible. I think I accomplished that on a degree I didn't know I could. I did a lot of camera cheating in this to actually get some of the shots to look better, and I think it adds to the feel of the scene.
Yes, this is a recreation of an existing scene in MURDER DRONES, but this one was made in my way.

COMPOSITING
My best work yet. In this I tried to work towards learning how to composite, the process of making animations look that much more professional. I specifically tried adding more lens flares so the lighting looks better. What came out was a product that I think is the best work I've brought out in a hot minute.
YES THIS IS FROM MURDER DRONES

ART
WALTER WHITE - BREAKING BAD
I used charcoal to make this piece. Took about a month to get this finished product that was also put on display at our school's art show. I was big into Breaking Bad at the time, so I wanted to make art of the "one who knocks."
LOOK AT MY DOODLES
Here is some of the stuff I've been sketching! Obviously, they're just sketches so they won't all be amazing, but it's cool to track!
My Current Projects
Daisy Bell Horror Scene
I am currently working on a horror scene inspired by the song "Daisy bell," a song that really makes the goosebumps fire. I'm aiming to make this creepy and eerie so I can challenge myself on my scene building. Here you can see some of the wireframe work and mesh basics for the subject and scene.
I've also provided multiple pictures that show the process of building the scene and a test I ran with the lighting. The rendered picture is only at 18 samples.
Tyrannosaurus Vs. Spinosaurus
Been wanting to make another dinosaur animation for a while so I'm going to work on a fighting animation, something I haven't done ever since I first started animating. So far I have the walk cycles done for the square up and now I got to add the action. Afterwards I'll need to add background details and actual grass because currently I just have a messy noise texture as the ground.
Here is the camera angle I have for the first shot of the fight. Just going to see where I can take it from here.
The next picture is particle work + lighting while also improving the camera angle

About this passion of mine
I started animating around 7th grade, and I've loved the process of making a little snippet of animation. Sure it's time consuming, but it feels amazing to see the results when a product is made.
